Reservations and Cancellations

Reservations

All day-trips, multi-day trips, and courses require a 30% non-refundable deposit upon booking. Private trips require a 50% non-refundable deposit. We encourage advanced registration. This can be a little as 1 day’s notice, and we do our best accommodate walk-in guests. All of our day trips are run a private basis, meaning we do not advertise group outings for single-day events.

We welcome inquiries on custom and group trips (groups are 6 or more people) and we very frequently accommodate these requests. Any trip arranged on a custom or group basis, such as custom courses or organizations, requires a 50% deposit at the time of booking. If booking is made within 30 days of the trip start date, 100% of the balance is due at booking. If additional participants are added at a later date, 100% cost will be charged at that time.

Cancellations

Cancellations and changes for day-trip reservations must be made 7 days prior to the trip date. If cancellations or changes are made within 7 days of the trip start date, credit will be offered to apply the trip deposit toward another guided event through The Absolute Alpine / Rifle Climbing Guides, to be booked within 1-year, otherwise your deposit will be forfeited. Cancellations and changes for non-private, multi-day trips, courses, and group reservations must be made 30 days prior to the trip date. If cancellations or changes are made within 30 days of the trip start date, credit will be offered to apply the trip deposit toward another guided event, to be booked within 1-year, otherwise your deposit will be forfeited. There are no refunds on private bookings. There are no refunds or credits for future trips for parties who do not show up to their reservation on time. All bank transfer and/or credit card fee’s associated with trip refunds will be charged to the guest.

Cancellations by Us

The Absolute Alpine / Rifle Climbing Guides reserves the right to cancel any program, at any time, for any reason. Potential cancellations by the guide service include circumstances such as extreme weather for the planned itinerary or lack of guide/instructor availability, such as illness or injury. In such cases, guests will first be offered the option of booking the planned activity for another date in close proximity to the original reservation, then offered full trip deposit and payment refund, minus any credit card fees associated with the refund transaction.
